Administrative Assistant for the KPS Foundation.
JJob Summary The KPSF Foundation Administrative Assistant provides bookkeeping and payroll services, donor record-keeping, and secretarial support to the KPS Foundation. Hours of work are 10 per week.
Qualifications • Experience with Quickbooks online and Microsoft Office is required. • Ability to learn a CRM (Customer Relationship Management System) • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent experience preferred. • An attitude of customer service. • High degree of accuracy in all aspects of the job.
Duties and Responsibilities • Record deposits to all foundation bank accounts including KCLC, CLASS Act, and the Merryman Performing Arts Center. • Generate checks for all accounts under management with correct coding and classification. • Process payroll for multiple entities including KPSF, KCLC, CLASS Act, and MPAC. • Process Federal and State tax payments. • Prepare reports for the Nebraska Charitable Gaming Division. • Prepare bank reconciliations. • Maintain appropriate files and records. • Record donations and donor information in CRM software. • Produce timely Thank you letters and tax receipts to donors. • Record Accounts Payable/Receivable and corresponding payments. • Compute Sales Tax and file appropriate reports with payments
Special Demands This position requires prolonged periods of sitting and repetitive hand motions.
