QUALIFICATIONS: 

  1. Education:  2 year degree from an accredited college or equivalent.
  2. Strong secretarial, organizational and accuracy skills.
  3. Skilled in software applications, data basis and publication software.
  4. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  5. Customer service orientation.
  6. Bookkeeping skills.
  7. Prioritizes, organizes and multi-tasks in a fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: (Include, but are not limited to)

  1. Provide clerical support for the Director of PK-5 and 6-12 Education and department programs.
  2. Responsible for the organization, registration, recordkeeping, coding, budget monitoring and vendor management for staff development.
  3. Prepare documents, power points, spreadsheets and other communications materials for the department. 
  4. Provide clerical support for Curriculum and Instruction advisory and ad hoc committees. Assist in the development of data reports.
  5. Assist in the preparation and monitoring of grant documents.
  6. Assist in the preparation and monitoring of state and federal reports.
  7. Serve as the systems administrator for curriculum, instruction, and assessment software.
  8. Assist with coordination of district wide testing process in grades PK-5 and 6-12.
  9. Coordinate purchasing and distribution of PK-5 and 6-12 CIA materials.
  10. Assist in the preparation and publication of PK-5 and 6-12 CIA documents.
  11. Assist with coordinating and maintaining inter-local agreements and MOUs with local businesses and post-secondary institutions as it pertains to college and career readiness.
  12. Other duties as assigned.
